These are some of the raw unedited recording that I have done at the radio station. The purpose of these recordings are meant to show the things that I have mentioned in the reflection the mic volumes, my voice projection, nervousness, and also the struggle I had with doing the introductions. I will upload 3 recording which will I think will make the point clear. However since the files are to big I'm going to just upload some small clips that I can use the as examples of my progress at the radio station.
RMR did serve as a good learning curve for and for that reason I am greatfull for the opportunity they have afforded me to a present and do implement my idea.
Show 1 : Preparing for the future.
Preparing for the future was the first show I did at the radio station and I had so many challenges with this show. Mainly because it was my first show and I was very nervous. Another thing was because I had to do a telephone interview which was very knew to me and I did not know how to correctly do it. However I did manage and Tried my best with the little experience I had.
So this is is my first show clip and its one of the mistakes that I made in the studio. Since this was my first show I did not have a sting in place and that one of the many reasons that there was a song playing at the beginning. The first show was full of ups and downs however I did manage to do it and do the best with what I knew despite the difficulties.
Show 3 : Slow Reaction of government I'm preparing for Higher education.
This was my third show and I think on this show I have made some improvement to how I wanted to pass down information.
So this second recording highlights some of the problems which I was struggling with and I did highlight in the reflection, is the absence of radio voice and also how to sound conversational and exciting in doing the transitioning and also the fact that my voice is to soft.
Show 7: Bursary Opottunities
This recording I took it and it does highlight some of the growth that I has when I was doing the Show, having the confidence in my voice, knowing the correct volumes, even though I was still making mistakes but i was however get comfortable in the studio.
So This was my radio Journey and learning experience for me. I started nervous however I was able to grow into confidence as the show progressed.
